Women driving men mad

It’s those three little words that men dread to hear from their partners: “Can I drive?”

A study by market researcher OnePoll.com involving 3000 men has revealed that more than a third don’t feel safe when their other half is driving.

6a00d8341d417153ef0120a61f8e5e970cMillions of men find themselves pushing their feet down into the foowell because their wife or partner breaks late, while others spend large chunks of the journey gripping the edges of the seat in sheer terror.

One in ten said he had been forced to grab the steering wheel to save his life as his other half took her eyes off the road and careered towards the median strip.

Men’s biggest complaints were that women were too easily distracted by children, scenery or other motorists.

Braking too late was the second most common complaint, while braking too hard came in sixth.

One in five men said they could never relax when their partner drove, and were utterly relieved when they had reached their destination.

Most of the men surveyed agreed that they had to get out of the car and walk away while their wife attempted to park to preserve their sanity.
