Best day tour from Cairns
In a recent article describing our holiday in Cairns I mentioned that one of the day tours we took was an absolute standout and therefore rated a special mention on this website. The Leader of the Opposition (my wife, not Malcolm Turnbull) and I are back from a great holiday in Cairns. And, guess what? Not a surgical mask to be seen at Brisbane or Cairns airport, on the shuttle buses or on any tour coaches, none. So there you go, it’s all a storm in the proverbial tea-cup. Read more..
Off to Cairns

My wife (the Leader of the Opposition) and I are off to Cairns for a week’s holiday tomorrow, Tuesday June 16. We were able to grab two cheap flights with Jetstar for around $170 each return, too good to miss. Hotel accomodation is also cheap thanks to the so-called swine flu, with some hotels just about giving rooms away. Read more..
