About
Hello - I’m John Leal, I live on the Sunshine Coast of Australia. To keep from going senile I indulge in a bit of handyman work, play lawn bowls, go fishing and write this blog. The object of my blog is to put down my thoughts and everyday situations in a light-hearted manner which will provide a laugh and a bit of entertainment for anyone who is bored enough to have a read. A blog is also a venue where the author can let off steam and rant and rave about any perceived wrongdoings by people who may have attempted to stuff up his day. After being married for over thirty-five years (over two life sentences) I’ve developed a very dry and warped sense of humour which has helped me cope through my long period of incarceration.
As well as this being a biographical effort, I decided to produce The Sixty Zone to provide helpful and informative views on important topics that touch our daily lives, such as health, the economy, finance, lifestyle, shopping, travel and relationships, just to name a few. I’ll also be reviewing household products such as computers, televisions, kitchen and bathroom aids, orthopedic beds and other support systems for the elderly.
But wait, there’s more. I’ll be passing on computer tips by that well known guru, Ray Shaw. And last but not least, don’t forget to go to my comedy page, because ‘Laughter is the best medicine.’
